Changsha Institute’s chemical supervision project wins award

Recently, a 150,000-ton-per-year wet process phosphoric acid purification unit, supervised by Changsha Institute, won the 2013 National Excellent Chemical Project award from the national chemical project construction quality evaluation committee. The unit is at Wengfu Co’s phosphor and sulfur base in Dazhou city, Sichuan province.

The unit was one of the world’s largest and most advanced chemical projects. It was undertaken by the Changsha Institute. It went into trial operations in 2012 and successfully produced qualified products. The Changsha Institute’s performance was highly recognized by proprietors, who sent thank-you letters to show their appreciation.

The success of the project also demonstrated Changsha Institute’s grasp of global cutting-edge supervision technology in wet process phosphoric acid purification. It signals that the company has become a top fine-chemical project supervisor worldwide.
