Following the “Night of ChemChina”, the “Night of Bluestar” was unveiled on the evening of January 27, a novelty to strengthen interaction and communication and promote cultural fusion between Chinese and overseas employees. The two-hour show began with a Peking Opera-ballet combination, and invited employees to come onto stage to share their personal stories in a light, easy atmosphere. Some of the stories were heart-warming, some funny and some thought-provoking.

Under the topic of “workplace stories with foreign colleagues”, employees from at home and abroad shared lovely, humorous stories about how they worked with colleagues from another country and their feelings about it. Coming from different backgrounds, they were all aware of the importance of cultural integration in Bluestar’s international development. Chinese employees were impressed by the organization, punctuality and professionalism of foreign colleagues who expressed admiration for the hard work, rich experience and upbeat attitude of the former. Harmony among diversity and mutual learning without bias are the key to collaborative, win-win development. The stories told were vivid illustrations of the theme “We Are Family”.

At the event, ChemChina Chairman Ren Jianxin stressed the importance of cultural integration for Bluestar’s international development and motivated employees to work harder to grow the carbon fiber business and other business segments in one mind and accelerate Bluestar’s international development.

As the event drew to an end, the audience praised it for providing a new communication platform to enhance mutual understanding and information sharing between Chinese and overseas employees and stimulating in-depth cultural integration and win-win collaboration.
